**Job Summary**
We are looking for a team player who will motivate their team and step into each role as needed. Understanding the importance of a smooth running event, with on-going hands-on training of your team along with constructive feedback, building your colleagues into the best in Calgary The role is perfect for an individual with ample event experience to use that knowledge and create something magnificent for each event.

**Duties**
- Planning and co-ordination with clients from tours to execution
- Utilizing all systems such as ConnectTeam, Perfect Venue and MS Suite to ensure all communication is clear and consistent with the team
- Greeting the guests into a warm and welcome environment, creating a last impression upon arrival for the organiser
- Facilitate smooth event operations from start to finish, looking at the greater picture and small details to make the event spectacular
- Assist with cashiering, bartending, clearing, and any other duties as is needed
- Management of your team with delegation and demonstrating strong leadership
- Support food service operations, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health standards.
- On-going hands-on training with your team before an event ensuring they understand the food items for the event, the flow of the event and the execution from the BEO details etc.
- Stepping into the daily operation of our cafe in the slower times of the year if needed.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities a must
- Strong ability to time manage, prioritise and pivot as needed.
- Exceptional computer skills a must
- Cashiering and bartending experience a must have.
- Background in food and beverage a must.
- Management experience a must
- Must have full flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
