Brock Doors & Windows is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Warehouse Team. Under the general direction of the Installations Manager, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for processing orders form the suppliers - Northstar, Trutech, and others - and staging jobs for timely pick-ups by the contractors. Our goal is to have jobs picked and inspected 2-3 days in advance. Duties include: positive communication with the Project Coordinators and Installers and workplace safety and general maintenance of the building.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Understand Scope of Work, status of material orders, location of products and prepare jobs for pick up by qualified installation crew for all projects
- Receive and distribute required paperwork to appropriate parties
- Documents and updates ERP system (Lead Perfection, Inflow) with detailed notes, noting issue such as delays, damaged product, quantity errors
- Document all shipments for charges or credits, as well as return material to suppliers
- Check orders to ensure they match the contract/work order
- Follow-up with manufacturers with tracking back-orders, missing, or damaged product; template reproduction and transfer from the Project Coordinator to the supplier
- Provide a superior and responsive customer experience to both employees, installers, and contractors
- Monitor and replenish inventory of installer building products
- Observe all aspects of warehouse health & safety with the goal of preventing injury, accidents, and near-misses through training, communication, and skills development and hazard assessment e.g. ensuring installers stay behind allotted space for them to wait - not crossing into the warehouse
- Creates a team environment that fosters strong employee engagement Manually offload doors and windows
- Additional responsibilities as directed by supervisor or manager
