We are looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our Foodology (Food Ingredients) team

You will be responsible for all existing accounts within your territory (Greater Vancouver Area) and be tasked with leading initiatives that drive business growth. This includes creating and fostering relationships with our existing and new customers.

**What you’ll do**:
- Call on established and prospective customers to sell company products and services.- Proactively plan customer visits 1-2 weeks in advance.- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.- Grow our industrial footprint by meeting with customers consistently to strengthen client relationships.- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to key customers.- Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to maintain customer service levels.- Forecast sales activity and revenue projections on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.**What you’ll need**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Science, Chemistry, Business, or similar.- 1 - 3 years of experience in a B2B selling role in the manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or chemical industry is preferred.- Strong business savvy, including an understanding of the business relationship between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemicals.- Well-honed listening skills and a problem-solving approach to uncover needs and motivations to overcome objections to closing a sale.-
- Solid understanding of contract terms, principles, and profitability calculations.- Must have strong organizational skills, work independently, and demonstrate initiative.- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
