Looking for a positive, engaging individual to join our team. This is a seven-month temporary position.

**Duties**:

- Facilitate a self-esteem and empowerment program for youth ages 11 to 14
- Assist within the tutoring program for elementary aged children
- Attend charitable bingo sessions

Primary qualifications:

- experience facilitating a group of children
- relevant post-secondary education
- excellent written and spoken communication
- academic and computer skills
- comfortable working with children, families and volunteers
- an understanding of LD and ADHD
- sign and abide by an oath of confidentiality
- produce a satisfactory police clearance with vulnerable sector check
- must have own transportation to attend group outings

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6 hours/day; one day per week must be available until 6:30pm to facilitate program, while specific hours the rest of the week can be discussed.

Note: Office is closed/staff will not work December 23, 2024 to January 3, 2025, and March 10 to 14, 2025.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- No weekends
