Inventory Control Clerk

**DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

1. Maintain inventory records for material, shipments and customer material

2. Process appropriate documentation for receiving, inspection and in-process materials

3. Generate supplied material purchase orders

4. Generate pick lists and material requisitions

5. Physically moving parts to manufacturing

6. Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory

**OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Key role in annual physical inventory count

2. Prepare inventory reports and summaries for both on-hand materials and new PO

3. Assist with purchasing factory supplies and services as required

4. Assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities as required

5. Expedite documentation and materials as required

6. Prepare allocations in accordance with stock material and submit for review

7. Perform other related tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:
1. Perform duties with general supervision of the Purchasing/Materials Manager

2. Work is performed to a large extent on own responsibility

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**

EDUCATION

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Computer literacy required in Inventory Control and Word/Excel

3. Community College in Materials Management diploma preferred

4. Inventory Control courses would be an asset

EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum 1 to 2 years with inventory control functions

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. Proficient written and verbal communication

2. Computer literate

3. Organized and detail oriented

4. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
