**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Vegetable Prep**: Wash, peel, chop, and portion vegetables and herbs to exact specifications. Maintain freshness and quality throughout shifts.
- ** Protein Prep**: Trim, marinate, and portion meats, poultry, and seafood following food safety standards and chef direction.
- ** Portion Prep**: Weigh, label, and organize ingredients and prepped items for efficient line use and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all prep areas according to Alberta Health Services standards.
- Assist with receiving and proper storage of deliveries.
- Collaborate closely with line cooks and sous chefs to ensure prep aligns with menu needs.
- Follow all kitchen procedures and help minimize food waste.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous prep or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to kitchen professionalism.
- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
