**Location**: Owen Sound, Ontario

**Hours/schedule**: _Please note that we will allow for a flexible schedule within the company requirements for this position. _

We are looking for a bookkeeper/office administrator to ensure the integrity of our accounting records and perform the day-to-day accounting functions for our businesses.

This position will be trained by our VP of Finance and Administration with the idea of taking over the majority of the bookkeeping and administrative functions.

Primary responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger through regular reconciliations, performing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash balancing, advanced receiving reconciliation, and more. There will also be the responsibility of dealing with administrative tasks in the office.

**Specific duties include**:

- Maintaining day-to-day accounting functions of a multi-branch retail business.
- Advanced Receiving Reconciliation: Auditing Inventory Receipts to AP Invoices.
- AR, AP, GL, Daily Cash Balancing, EOM & EOY with ERP software.
- Maintaining accounting records of a secondary property management company.
- Performing Payroll and administrative functions.
- Requires someone with accounting knowledge and strong math & computer skills.
- Must have very strong Excel, analysis & diagnostic abilities.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
