We have an opportunity in our Owen Sound office for a talented, motivated individual as an Accounting Bookkeeping Technician/Tax Preparer

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Bookkeeping from client supplied records
- Preparing personal tax returns
- Assistance with financial statement preparation and other corporate client matters
- Intelligence and integrity
- An attention to detail, organization and accuracy
- An ability to prioritize and meet filing deadlines for our clients.
- An ability to deal with a variety of client needs
- Respect for, and a willingness to work with all members of our team
- An appreciation and respect for client’s confidentiality in all matters

Technical training will be provided. Experience in the following areas is an advantage:

- Experience with Sage 50 and QuickBooks accounting software, both desktop and on-line
- Sound understanding of Excel worksheets
- Experience with database input
- Experience in professional personal t ax return preparation
- Knowledge of personal tax preparation software

- The current position is full time with seasonal time peaks.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Owen Sound, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Personal Tax: 1 year (preferred)
