Surveillance Supervisor

Playground is expanding and is currently seeking professional _Surveillance Supervisors_ to join our diligent and experienced surveillance team.
The position demands acute attention to detail and a demonstrated understanding of surveillance operations. The Surveillance Supervisors will display strong leadership, teamwork, impeccable communication skills, and the ability to take direction from other superiors in and out of the office.
**_ Frim Office Schedule: _**_PART-TIME_**
**_ Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - 12. AM - 8. AM_**
**OR**
**_ Saturday and Sunday - 4. PM - 12. AM_**
**Responsibilities**:
- To aid in the supervision and guidance of our team of surveillance professionals by ensuring that all personnel are working cohesively together, that our company policies and procedures are being upheld, and that the office rules and directives are being maintained.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, management inquiries, and all reviews related to surveillance activities.
- Actively working with other departments to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for carefully monitoring our video surveillance system and detecting potential liability issues, illegal activity, and assisting in maintaining the overall safety of customers and staff
- Monitor the operations of and activities on the property including, but not limited to the performance and state of the surveillance equipment, all alert systems (i.e. fire alarm systems, burglary alarm systems and others as directed; the performance and behavior of Playground employees and the actions of Playground guests (particularly the actions with the potential to threaten the assets and operation of the organization), and the presence and activities of regulatory authorities, law enforcement, and emergency services personnel
- Proactively observes and reviews video to complete required documentation of specific incidents including, but not limited to, customer complaints, procedural errors, risk management issues, player evaluations, thefts and discrepancies
- Responsible for monitoring real-time security footage in a large and dynamic environment
- Responsible for monitoring table games, slot machines, and all critical areas of the gaming floor.
- Monitor compliance with security protocols regarding masks and social distance
- Maintain and improve knowledge of game rules, company policies, procedures, and threats in all areas for which surveillance is responsible
- Review previously recorded surveillance footage as appropriate
- Complete daily shift logs, investigation status notes, and incident reports as directed
- Preserve video coverage/evidence of significant events as directed
- Restrict access to the surveillance room and surveillance-related information and materials to those with designated access
- Supervise all shift activities
- Train new employees as well as coach current employees regarding the implementation of new policies and procedures
- Formulate detailed reports and generate daily log entries on all observations and investigations
- Be responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of investigations and reports submitted by operators in the office
- Clearly communicate with floor security officers in the event of suspicious activity, failure to follow protocols or procedures
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 1 year of comprehensive knowledge of surveillance techniques, equipment, and software.
- 2+ years of team supervisory experience
- Technology expertise, including experience with video and computer systems, is essential
- Acute attention to detail and superior observation skills to conduct examinations, write and complete reports and records that could be used as evidence in legal cases resulting in criminal charges against guests, vendors, or employees
- Ability to remain impartial and keep all observed actions and behaviors confidential
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Able to sit for extended periods of time in close proximity to co-workers
- Strong ability to remain focused and alert, for extended periods of time, while sitting in front of multiple cameras
- Must possess an advanced level of grammar, spelling, proper use of punctuation, and advanced math skills
- Be able to analyze information and use logic to solve job-related problems.
- Possess excellent telephone and radio etiquette
- Advanced communication and organizational skills are required
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
