Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media plans and campaigns in alignment with OVOT's goals and objectives.
- Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor and manage OVOT's social media accounts, including daily interaction with followers, responding to comments and messages, and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all social media channels.
- Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies for increased reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve OVOT's social media presence and stay ahead of the curve.
- Support the development of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and infographics, to complement social media campaigns and initiatives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate social media efforts for events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications:

- Encouraged: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Proven work experience (2+ years) in social media
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and content creation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and brand consistency.
- Familiarity with social media advertising, including paid campaigns and boosted posts, is an asset.
- Passion for social justice, community engagement, and advocacy.
