Team Lead, Underwriting Assistant Pool

**How you will create impact**:

- Overseeing a national team of underwriting assistants that provide administrative & processing services to various Commercial underwriting teams.
- Partnering with Underwriting teams to support a team-oriented approach to meeting goals and objectives including written premium and profitability objectives nationally, actively seeking ways to improve service and support provided
- Maintaining required service standards while following established workflows and procedures including national processes where applicable
- Leading process documentation and workflow development and improvements including expansion of Underwriting Assistant services to other underwriting business units as required
- Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, recognizing achievements, and managing performance, to develop an agile team and achieve department objectives

**To join our team**:

- Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience
- 1-2 years Underwriting or Underwriting Support experience
- High School Diploma
- Having Insurance Industry Courses (CIP/FCIP) is an asset.
