**Responsibilities**:
- Update, edit and format a variety of documents (policies and procedures, contracts, reports and correspondence)
- Retrieve, review, and/or modify data; utilizes word processing, database and software programs
- Direct contact for clients with new project requests
- Basic accounting - Accounts receivable functions and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks
- Assist in the overall daily office functions with guidance from the General Manager
- Answer queries from staff members and provide them with the necessary information to get the work done in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate meetings for the General Manager and other staff as directed by the General Manager
- Prepare and lead meetings and safety training for employees weekly
- Payroll - Keep track of employee time sheets, submit payroll semi-monthly, submit all ROE's & T4's, Employee set-up & departure
- Human Resource duties - Recruitment, Interviewing, Employee file set up and managing policies
- Perform inventory management as required
- Office cleanliness
- Managing social media accounts - Facebook & Instagram
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Advanced level of proficiency in QuickBooks online
- Knowledge with Google workplace software (i.e.Google docs, Google sheets)
- Strong editing and writing skills
- Attention to detail is essential
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Positive attitude, self-starter and reliable
- Flexible and adaptable to changing processes and new tasks
- Classs 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
- Canadian Citizen
- Speak English fluently
- Able to pass a Pre
- Employment drug screen
**Education/Experience**:
- Certificate/diploma in a business administrative program or equivalent working experience
- Minimum of 2 years recent and related experience (required)
- Experience in the sign industry/print shop (an asset)
