- Day In The Life
- Process invoices for payment; verifying correct GL and managers approval
- Analyze high volume of payment selections
- Prepare and perform check runs, including electronic transfers and wires
- Reconcile vendor statements; ensuring accounts and vendor relations are in good standing
- Correspond with vendors and branches, providing timely responses to inquiries
- Assist with projects and implementations
- Provide support and coverage to other team members as needed
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Comprehend Chart of Accounts
- Assist with month-end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Various tasks as assigned
- What We Are Seeking
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable and accounts payable principles experience
- Excellent communication skills - ability to effectively deal with both external and internal customers
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the construction industry an asset
- Experience working in a paperless environment is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft office software an asset
