**Bakery Clerk & Counter Service (Grocery Store)**

Our King City store (**located at King's Ridge Marketplace at Dufferin St & King Rd)** is now hiring a Bakery Clerk to join our Bakery Team
- Provide exceptional customer service; taking orders, answering customer inquiries and up-selling goods at our Bakery counter
- Set up baked goods based on merchandising standards; ensure an accurate amount of goods are prepared based on store needs
- Accurately price and package breads and baked goods
- Provide customers with product information and assist them with selecting the appropriate desserts based on the occasion, number of attendees and their taste preferences
- Additional duties as required

**Job Requirements**
- Previous experience working in a bakery, providing counter support in a grocery store environment is preferred. Training will be provided
- Food Handler’s Certification is preferred. Post-secondary in a culinary skills program is an asset
- Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Part-time
