Job Description
As the PCM Studio Project Manager you will support CG’s E-commerce Essentials photo and video shoots. This role focuses on the management of Essentials briefs for both On & Off-figure Photography and Video (approx. 25 - 30 shoot days a year).
You will be working alongside the Sr. Project Manager and directly with our Head of Creative Services, Associate Art Director, Jr. Art Director and the Product Marketing Team, in this role you will be responsible for bringing our shoots to life, which includes shoot planning, pre-production, shoot days, post-production and managing all external vendors in prep for a successful shoot from concept to completion.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Producing/Project Management of all Essentials photography and video shoots in the Canada Goose PCM Studio (located in Toronto)
- Assist with other cross-functional requests (Global Conference, Town Hall)
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage end to end process with Creative teams to get alignment from internal stakeholders on shot list, recommended talent, pre-production, shooting, to post-production, working with re-touchers, final asset delivery
- Manage overall budget with the support of the Sr. Project Manager and process all internal and external costs for all shoots
- Work with PCM Studio Manager to book Canada Goose studio(s) space as required
- Scheduling Photographer/Videographer/Crew/Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe Team
- Model outreach/negotiating rates and booking Models
- Book caterers
- Manage day-of schedule
- Book retouching and video post-production vendors, manage post-schedule through to completion
- Develop retouching trackers for Stills (On & Off-fig) for CG’s internal retouching team. Work with Product Marketing on the colours required for all SKU’s for each season
- Assist with maintaining creative team project tracker: organize project details for creative team, develop workback schedules, oversee key milestones, liaise with cross functional teams to report on activity by department, status, budget tracker
- Work with Sr. Project Manager to resource and schedule internal Creative teams based on availability and bandwidth from other projects
- Work closely with Product Marketing on forecasted shoots
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners and work as part of Cross Department Team on all Essential Shoots
- Inspire and motivate the team throughout the creative process to drive projects to final delivery
- Participate in project briefing sessions and presentations across the marketing team and organization
- Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers
**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND DESIGNATIONS**
- University Degree or College Diploma in Business, Advertising or Marketing-related field
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in production/producing or project management from a photography and video perspective
- Retail Experience is essential
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES**
- Knowledge of photography, video production (able to run with shot lists, pre-production, manage post-production timelines and budget)
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects & budgets under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-orientated with organizational and time management skills
- Calm under pressure Solutions-focused and ability to think and plan ahead even in the most chaotic environments
- Excellent team player - willing to roll up your sleeves on and take on anything even if it doesn’t fit neatly in your job description
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external clients to develop and negotiate project scopes, timing, and budgets
- Able to effectively communicate objectives, schedules, and action plans to a diverse team
- Strong computer skills, in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Highly motivated, passionate with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
