Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Reports to: Director and CEO

Company Overview: Our small construction company, who strongly values being a team player and having fun, specializes in residential construction as well as commercial tenant improvements for franchises. We are currently seeking an entry-level Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders and tracking delivery schedules
- Coordinate the delivery and schedule of materials to ensure timely arrival at job sites
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices, delivery times, and quality of goods and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents
- Communicate regularly with suppliers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Ensure that all purchases are in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings

**Requirements**:

- Education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

**Salary**: $36,215.60-$62,402.86 per year
