Continental Cartage Inc a division of Landtran Systems Inc has over 60 years of experience in the Trucking Industry. We provide dedicated delivery, warehousing, cross-docking and distribution services across Western Canada.

We are currently looking for an Intermediate Dispatcher to join our team in Acheson, AB. The Dispatcher will work alongside Operations and our Drivers to effectively dispatch drivers and equipment in a way that meets on customers expectations.

**Position Details**:

- Ensure work is accurately entered into dispatching system
- Dispatch drivers and equipment
- Actively plan and schedule drivers and equipment to meet clients project requirements
- Communicating with drivers on schedule and work availability
- Manage and direct all incoming dispatch inquires
- Coordinate with Operations and Fleet Manager to ensure equipment is ready for use
- Provide clients with update paperwork
- Maintain and update various documents as required to support operations
- Offer a high level of customer service to our Drivers and Clients
- Maintain and update driver in Truckmate
- Report all driver setbacks to Operations Manager as required
- Ensure proper directions are given to drivers on dispatched loads
- Various other duties assigned by Operations

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 year experience in Dispatching Decks
- Must have 2 years knowledge and experience with Flat Decks and Over Dimensional Loads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Hours of Service
- Moderate computer skills with use of various softwares and databases
- Available to be on call rotation every 3 weeks
- Proficient in Microsoft, and Google Softwares
- Previous experience with driver tracking software such as Truckmate
