**Job Description**:
Ensures payroll data is precise and accurate to meet government requirements and company policies. The Payroll Administrator will manage the payroll of our stores in Ontario and western Canada.

**THE ROLE**
- Validate Pay Cycles
- Input new hires in both HR and Payroll systems
- Process corrections in systems and balance hours from Payroll and Daily Summary Report to IMP file
- Verify the eligibility of payable absences and manually update systems
- Analyze all documents received and bring changes to Payroll systems
- Import and balance data from received files (Payroll hours, Rewards, etc.)
- Perform audits to ensure accuracy
- Analyze and process departure notices and calculate severance pay according to legislation
- Produce ROE
- Create files for new hires
- Update and maintain employee files
- Create reports as needed
- Prepare and send reports on a recurrent basis (Store List, HR List, DAS, Gross, WSIB, Statistiques Canada, etc )

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- DEC (College diploma) in Accounting or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in Payroll
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Dayforce/Insync, HR Expert, StoreForce, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of labour standards for all Canadian provinces
- Ability to analyze and prioritize information
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual
