Develop the course outline in consultation with the course coordinator (if applicable) and in accordance with Faculty requirements. Facilitate online synchronous and asynchronous learning activities that encourage deep reflection and critical inquiry. Provide timely, constructive feedback on student research and final presentations. Assess student work, assign final grades, and comply with Western University policies on academic integrity and assessment. Communicate regularly with the Teacher Education Office or course coordinator to ensure consistency across offerings. **Responsibilities**: You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades. **Qualifications**: - Qualifications (Minimum Required): - Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in international, global, intercultural, or comparative education. - Teacher certification - Demonstrated teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level. - Knowledge of and/or experience in school - or community-based research, action research, or practitioner inquiry within global, international, or intercultural contexts. Preferred Qualifications / Assets: - Ph.D. or Ed.D. in international, intercultural, or global education, or a related field. - Demonstrated record of effective teaching performance in teacher education or equivalent contexts. - Experience teaching or studying in more than one country In accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications, including qualifications which go beyond the requirements for the position.
