What does an Inside Sales Representative do?
- Engage customers and prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls, sometimes following an outlined script to advertise our products, in a way that is professional and honest.
- Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
- Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with.
- Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product’s function and purpose, so you can confidently identify opportunities to recommend products that add value for our customers.
- Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference.
- Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful.
- Showcase the company’s strengths and highlight our brand by talking about the characteristics that make our organization unique.
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and goals for the upcoming week.
What do you need?
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer facing role, in either a sales or service environment, either in retail or a call center environment.
- Market experience in British Columbia and/or Southern Ontario market would be an asset.
- The ability to communicate professionally and persuasively in a manner that engages customers and delivers value.
- Organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and pay strong attention to detail when processing orders.
- Strong computer and technical skills are required. Experience with MS Office is an asset.
- Experience with a CRM and other sales technologies is considered an asset
- Attention to detail to accurately process invoices
