Outreach and Fund Development Coordinator

**Position Summary**

The Outreach and Fund Development Coordinator is a one year renewable position. The Coordinator will be responsible for leading the charge on all things marketing, public relations, outreach, fundraising, and fund development at Rebound Child & Youth Services. You will work alongside the Executive Director to create and implement communications strategy, as well as represent Rebound at select events in Northumberland County. The Outreach and Fund Development Coordinator will champion Rebound’s Mission and Vision in the community, as well as live and breathe Rebound’s culture code, with a passion for promoting the well-being of children and youth.

**Role and Responsibility**

**Outreach and Fund Development**
- Lead the planning and organization of special events and fundraisers
- Maintain donor prospecting, including solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship to reach annual fundraising goals
- Write, edit, and produce marketing and public relations material, such as press releases, media alerts, newsletters, and promotional material
- Support Rebound’s fund development strategy through grant writing and reporting, as assigned
- Update and maintain Rebound and affiliate websites
- Develop communication strategies and lead tactical implementation
- Represent Rebound in community outreach initiatives including delivering presentations, hosting booths/tables at community events or other representation opportunities
- Perform administrative duties and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director or designate

**Working Conditions**
- Full Time - One Year Renewable (dependent on funding)
- Flexibility in work hours, including ability to work weekends/evenings for purposes of program delivery and attendance at activities and events when necessary
- Driving/travelling to program locations and other events
- Requires working in shared open-concept office space, in a busy environment with frequent distractions

**Qualifications, Experience, and Requirements**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in communications, marketing, business, fund development, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, and/or fundraising is preferred
- Experience using a variety of social media platforms, and an excellent working knowledge of MS Office programs as well as an understanding basic website development
- Working knowledge of not-for-profit operations is preferred but not mandatory
- Superior written and verbal communications skills
- Strong understanding of business insights, KPIs, marketing analytics, and data
- Handle multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholder
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that promote positive team building and collaboration
- Ability to work independently with high level of accountability, and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with minimum $2,000,000 insurance liability.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector search.

Pay: $24.40-$25.60 per hour
