**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Planning and Growth**:

- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Identify and target new markets, industries, and partnerships for business expansion.
- **Client Acquisition and Relationship Management**:

- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in construction, property management, and municipal sectors.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- **Proposal Development and Sales**:

- Create customized proposals, bids, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and track progress using CRM software.
- **Collaboration and Team Leadership**:

- Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide feedback to the leadership team on customer needs, market trends, and service improvements.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns to support business growth.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Set and achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the construction, transportation, or snow removal industries.
- Strong understanding of earthmoving, dump truck operations, and snow removal services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.

**Preferred Skills**
- Established network in construction, property management, and municipal sectors.
- Experience with bidding and securing government or commercial contracts.
- Knowledge of local and regional regulations related to trucking, earthmoving, and snow removal operations.
