Business Development Manager

$100,000 Base 1st year, 100% commission year 2+

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Development, you will be responsible for selling construction services across Western Canada.

What the role encompasses:

1. Driving business growth through proactively identifying new opportunities and successfully closing business development opportunities
2. Fostering long-term relationships
3. Developing and delivering presentations to clients and prospective clients
4. Determining and implementing innovative business development strategies that will contribute to company growth
5. Preparing and executing business development action plans for target markets

Who you are:

- 5+ years of sales/business development experience OR technical (Project Manager, Estimator) experience in the commercial construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in commercial/industrial, design/build construction is preferred; however, strong sales skills and a leverageable network in commercial construction are also valued
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with all project team members
- Demonstrated ability to leverage your network to create opportunities others might not see
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing business growth
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to represent the company professionally to internal and external clients

Compensation

Typically $200K+ after 2nd year. An average of $350K per year over 10 years.
