The **Direct Billing Associate **is responsible for the receiving and billing of Direct and Project orders, dealing with outstanding issues and analyzing and reconciling order variances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process and maintain Purchase Orders.
- Retrieve direct invoices from the AS400 system, match and maintain PO's daily.
- Assist A/P regarding vendor invoices.
- Distribute invoices amongst Project Coordinators & Inside Sales for review.
- Process customer credits, vendor debits & returns.
- Analyze and reconcile order variances.
- Maintain & update manual and computer-based reports.
- Coordinate with the branches for PPVs, cost imbalances and vendor chargebacks.
- Create VDMs to debit Vendors for incorrect freight, price or quantity issues on the invoices.
- Review open PO invoice Excel report to meet the unfilled at Month End through Billing.
- Backup for the order desk receptionist.
- Data Entry on Physical Inventory.
- Various other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Intermediate level Accounting with project billing experience preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
- Must be able to handle a high volume, meet deadlines and multitask.
- Excellent communication & organization skills are a must.
- Excellent oral and written English required.
- MS Outlook and Excel proficiency required.
- Experience with AS400 computer system an asset but must have demonstrated proficiency with various computer systems.
