**Location**:Richmond, BC

We are currently searching for a Director, Human Resources, to lead the Human Resources and Administration teams located at our head office in Richmond, BC. The Director, Human Resources, will collaboratively lead our vision for the employee experience at Boston Pizza, reflecting our brand, culture, and evolving employee expectations internally and externally.

The Director, Human Resources is responsible for the overall performance of the Human Resources and Administration groups, including:

- Human Resources Strategy
- Talent Attraction and Retention
- Performance Management
- Workforce Optimization
- Employee Engagement
- Culture Development
- Change Management
- Vendor Management
- Human Resources Technology
- Budgeting

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Identify gaps and develop plans to align current organizational capabilities with future strategic objectives;
- Implement Boston Pizza’s employee experience vision and continually strive for brand and culture alignment, operational and service excellence;
- Lead and develop the Human Resources and Administration teams, ensuring they are accountable for business objectives and have the appropriate skills and behaviours to reflect a high performing team;
- Analyze the people and culture processes regularly and proactively recommend changes in-line with the overall strategy;
- Manage constant and rapid change in a manner that retains employees and sustains the culture while supporting the direction of change in a positive way;
- Have a strong understanding of industry dynamics and competitive landscape, and how these components impact the hiring, performance, diversity and inclusion of human capital;
- Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts and RFPs as required;
- Be a mentor, ambassador and representative of the brand’s culture; and
- Oversee budget management to achieve department objectives.

**Skills and Qualifications Required**:

- A minimum of 10 years of relevant and progressively senior experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, Leadership Development, Coaching / Training, Organizational Development and/or Talent Management;
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study that may include human resources, psychology or organizational behaviour; a master's degree in a relevant field of study is an asset;
- A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation;
- A coaching designation is an asset;
- Passion for employee experience, training and development, brand and culture;
- Experience developing programs related to employee experience;
- Experience leading and managing projects;
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills;
- Sound judgment and conflict resolution skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Experienced in project management and change management; and
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
