Kids & Company is looking for an energetic and self-driven HR Generalist to join our team

Reporting to the Director of HR and Vice President of HR, the HR Generalist will work as a strategic member of the Kids & Company Human Resources team to assist in managing the administration of the Company policies, procedures and programs; while providing comprehensive HR service to managers and staff within the organization.

**Job Duties**
- Assist the Director of HR to ensure effective, timely and consistent implementation of orientation, staff development and training programs are achieved;
- Investigates and understands causes for staff absences and recommends solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties;
- Counsels Directors and staff with performance related obstacles while identifying training and development opportunities;
- Monitors scheduled absences outside of regular one or two week entitled time periods to ensure absence is covered off adequately to ensure continuity of services;
- Assists in the development of Human Resources policies and procedures in partnership with the Director of HR;
- Support recruiting efforts for national opportunities including job postings, phone interviews and scheduling interviews
- Promotes workplace safety
- Maintain employee files
- Performs other related assignments as required.

- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Working knowledge of MS office, excel
