**Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Communications, this position contributes to the creation, execution, and tracking of communications campaigns designed to drive client and music community engagement with FACTOR.
The successful incumbent will focus their efforts assisting with creation of visual assets and messaging for FACTOR’s communications channels.
**Your Opportunity**:
The Communications and Content Specialist will own the following responsibilities:
- Research on sector-related topics
- Creation of various content (social media posts, news items at factor.ca, newsletters, videos, infographics, ad materials) with relevant tone and style
- Target content to specific audiences
- Analyze web traffic to measure the impact of content and strategies
**Your Experience and Education**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to write for a variety of channels and across a variety of formats/styles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various social media platforms and the execution of digital marketing strategies
- Possess excellent computer skills with proficiencies in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, handle multiple tasks, and work in an environment where timelines/deadlines are normal and last-minute changes a given.
- Organizational and time management skills an asset
- Knowledge of the Canadian music sector an asset
**What you can expect**:
35 hours per week. Flexibility between the hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday.
A hybrid model: in office, from home and in community.
Evening and weekend work, plus travel occasionally required when representing the organization at industry events.
