**Job description**

This position is located at our head office in Burlington for a hybrid flexible position.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Help execute content for multiple retail brands to various digital and traditional channels
- Responsible for social media strategy, effective writing, managing an execution calendar
- Present engaging content including video
- Thorough reporting and strategizing using analytics to support a range of activities
- Create exclusive, intriguing content based on accepted SEO methods and practices to drive traffic to our site(s)
- Editing and managing web content for multiple site(s) - product updates/pricing and keeping a current product catalog
- Make front end coding changes to content on websites. Requires Java and HTML *optional but preferred
- Help Manage Blog content and accurate descriptions based on current SEO practices
- Provide Lead Reporting and Nurturing information to pursue additional sales with each division
- Provide helpful insight into further sales development and promotional campaigns
- Maintain a consistent and productive content creation schedule. Ie. So many items will be requested for each day based on our targeted deadlines

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, data or analytics with a primary focus on digital
- A post-secondary degree in data science, marketing analytics, commerce, or related field
- Accurate, professional content writing
- Proficient in an Ecommerce Content Management (Magento)
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
- Google Ads experience
- Fluent in the use of all social media platforms
- Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot)
- Proficient in Indesign, Illustrator or a design platform for curating content
- PHP and Magento architecture (HTML, CSS) is an asset, but not required._

- Detail Oriented and Analytical
- Proficient writing ability
- How to monitor and employ successful digital presence, through inbound marketing including blogging, link building or other social channels
- Ability to audit SEO / Site Content
- Programming experience HTML, CSS, JavaScript along with familiarity of Wordpress, Mailchimp or a similar program is preferred.
