**Position Summary**:
The Territory Manager, LG reports to the Sales Manager, LG and is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of Vicwest’s light gauge building materials. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with OEMs, contractors, and retail partners to promote product adoption and meet revenue targets. The manager collaborates closely with customers to provide tailored solutions that support business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
**The assigned territory is Southern Ontario.**
**Key Accountabilities**:
1. **Drive Sales Growth and Product Placement**:Collaborate with OEMs, contractors, and retail channels to support sales growth and ensure alignment of key product lines with business objectives in the assigned territory.
2. **Manage and Develop Customer Accounts**:Maintain and grow existing accounts by promoting sales programs and actively pursuing new business opportunities within the territory.
3. **Build and Strengthen Channel Relationships**:Serve as the primary contact for channel customers, developing tailored business solutions to increase profitability and drive success within partner stores.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Identify and prospect new customers within the assigned territory to expand the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Present and demonstrate products or services to potential and current customers, highlighting features and benefits.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer service, and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote products and gather market intelligence.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration or another related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sale of building materials products through the retailer network
- Knowledge/experience in the construction sector
- Must be able to present a value proposition and overcome price discussions/negotiations
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem solving and good judgment skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
