**ROLE: Manager** - **Brand and Marketing**

We are looking for a Manager for our Brand and Marketing to fuel the ambitious growth. This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership to develop and grow the brand’s national presence.

As our Brand & Marketing manager you will work with our team to roll out our regional and national franchisee strategy. Working with our executive leadership team on future strategies and growth plans.

**Opportunities**

This is a very exciting time for the Marketing team as we grow and expand The main challenge is to continue to drive strong brand growth through strategic positioning, storytelling, innovation, and mission. This allows you to leave a permanent footprint on the brand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Brand Development** - Develop brand standards and work with store operators to ensure the brand standards are maintained.
- **Franchise Package Development** - Work with consultants to finalize the franchise package and prepare to sell franchises.
- **Marketing Approach **- Think strategically across the full marketing mix, with a special focus on emerging platforms/channels.
- **Marketing Campaigns** - Manage successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, taking ownership of the end-to-end creative strategy and external creative briefs.
- **Analysis and Reporting **- Track performance of all marketing campaigns and report findings to senior management, making recommendations to future activities.

**Abilities & Skills**
- Have a proven ability to contribute as part of a team.
- Have a proven ability to develop effective marketing programs, translating marketing objectives into functional plans that achieve targets.
- Are a people person that enjoys collaborative team sessions and isn’t scared off by discussions with senior leadership.
- Have excellent analytical and project management skills, with ability to lead cross functional teams
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products
- Have strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Are highly organized and able to multitask
- Have excellent troubleshooting skills

**_Experience_**
- Experience at developing and executing marketing plans.
- Successfully managed a team.
- Experience developing market and brand strategies for the Canadian retail market.
- Expert knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape
- A Degree or Diploma in Business, preferably Marketing, or equal experience

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule:

- Typically Monday to Friday, some evenings and weekends may be required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dartmouth, Nova Scotia: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
