We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team and help drive new business opportunities.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities for our Solar Specialist Sales Team. You will identify, qualify, and nurture leads to ensure a seamless transition to the sales process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy, business development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the clean energy sector.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on predefined criteria such as energy consumption, budget, decision-making authority, and timeline to ensure they are a good fit for our services.- Booking Meetings: Once a lead is qualified, schedule a meeting with one of our Solar Specialists, who will continue the sales process and close the deal.- Industry-Based Segmentation: Categorize and focus on leads from specific industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, technology) to maximize impact and efficiency.- Nurturing Relationships: For leads that aren’t immediately ready to buy, you’ll nurture ongoing relationships, providing relevant updates and information until they are ready to engage in a sales conversation.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (preferred, but not required).-
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.- Comfort with cold calling and outreach, with a proven ability to handle rejection professionally.- A passion for renewable energy and the solar industry is a plus.- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
What We Offer:
