**Architectural Contract Administrator in London - GTA Area**

JPTA is looking for an energetic person who has experience in contract administration work. The focus of this job opportunity will be to handle day-to-day construction administration duties - primarily field and office work for General Review. The position requires mobility to conduct architectural General Review on numerous project sites from London to Ajax to Hamilton, Ontario. A willingness to travel is important and past experience with contract administration is a requirement. A company vehicle will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop an understanding of firm standards and expectations for workflow, quality assurance and client satisfaction. Implement standards and workflows through all projects.
- Complete Construction Administration (CA) duties including both field and office tasks.
- Collaborate with JPTA team staff and JPTA consulting team members to complete CA responsibilities.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications of architectural designs through close collaboration with JPTA Project Lead
- Assist with meeting minutes and other administrative tasks such as site visit reports, project file management, submittals review, supplemental instructions, tracking and logs, certificates for payment, etc.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure project progress and quality control
- Attend job sites and/or Project Sites to review progress of work, conduct General Review and meet clients and contractors

Skills / Academic Requirements:

- Diploma of Architectural Technology required
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Expected start date:

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
