Bookkeeper/office Manager

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
These include:
- Full cycle bookkeeping duties
- Preparation of bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax filings (HST, Payroll Remitances, WSIB, T4 a d T2 Tax Instalments etc.)
- Solid communication skills
- fluency in written and spoken English;
- Bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks is a must;
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- Perform all day-to-day full cycle accounting functions including accounts payable
- Prepare and process payroll and related transactions
- Employee Commission calculations
- Prepare monthly reconciliations (banks, credit cards, prepaid's etc.)
- Assist with Financial Statement preparation for accountant and auditor
- Maintain files for all accounting records
- Assist with all Quarterly and Annual Reporting - (WSIB, HST, Rec Gen.)
- Assist in the year-end process including preparation of materials (reconciliations, accounting schedules, working papers), data analysis, and dealing with our external Chartered Professional Accounting firm
- Data entry for invoices and bills
- Inventory control and reporting
- Government tax calculations and remittances
- Other duties as assigned
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Progressive full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of QuickBooks and other related software
- Excellent time management, organisational and people skills
