Bookkeeper & Office Manager

As Bookkeeper and Office Manager at TrailerWorks you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset in maintaining the financial health of our company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while also managing the smooth running of our office.
You will report directly to our Account Director and our President, receiving direction regarding client billing protocols and accounts receivables/payables. You’ll be expected to monitor every step of the process and stay on top of all financially-related tasks.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Ability to perform full cycle accounting comfortably
- Comfortable maintaining multiple books
- Oversee accounts receivable and WIP (work-in-progress) and Accounts Payable
- Perform accounts, bank, and credit cards reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Maintain and balance general ledger
- File records on a monthly basis
- Process Staff Reimbursement form
- Process and file HST quarterly and yearly
- Process WSIB quarterly, process EHT annually
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis and update records for vacation request
- Process T4 and T4a
- Process Business Registry annually
- Cash management
- Produce monthly financial statements including: Profit and Loss, AP and AR Summary, Revenue Report, Cash Actuals and Forecast,
- Assist in preparation of year end audit
- Perform some administrative duties including ordering of supplies and equipment, booking couriers etc
- Assist team members as needed
**Qualifications**:
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting
- Completion of post-secondary Accounting Diploma/Degree
- Must have computer skills including Pages, Numbers, Accounting software, MS Excel
- Proficient in using Google Workspace
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements and documents
- Knowledge of government reporting and deadlines
**Experience**
- 2-3 years agency experience in a Bookkeeping position
**Compensation**
- 50k, health insurance benefits
This position is available immediately and is primarily remote but involves some periodic responsibilities in person in our Toronto office. But don’t fret, after all you’ll be working from the 2nd coolest corporate headquarters in the world.
