**Position Information**:
This position is with the Legal and Risk Services team. Reporting to and under the direction of the Privacy Lead, the Analyst, provides records management, analytical, coordination, auditing, investigative and administrative support to ensure organizational compliance with relevant legislation, policies, standards and guidelines.
**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, 8 hour shifts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ability to conduct audits in information technology systems, monitor access, and investigate privacy incidents;
- Supports the coordination, review and processing of freedom of information requests;
- Supports the tracking, investigations and resolution of low-risk privacy complaints, assessments, and incidents.
**Basic Requirements**:
- Graduation from a 2-year college program in Business, Office Administration, Law Clerk, or a related program;
- Minimum 5 years administrative/clerical experience;
- Knowledge of law including PHIPA and FIPPA;
- Knowledge of data entry, filing, retrieval and storage techniques;
- Knowledge of automated systems and software such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases and electronic mail, for example, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Case Management and Redaction Software;
- Knowledge of correspondence/request tracking system to log in requests, to track correspondence and other documents, to process forms and documentation, to provide information to managers and employees;
- Ability to compile statistics and status reports and to ensure timely and effective retrieval of documents to management and staff;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders;
- High degree of diplomacy when dealing with others;
- Problem solving and decision-making skills required to deal with unexpected situations;
- Eligible to work in Canada.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in the healthcare industry an asset;
- Experience (minimum 2 years) working in an FOI environment;
- Ability to work in both official languages;
- Graduation from a 4-year undergraduate program in Business, Office Administration, Law Clerk, or a related program.
