**Project Administrator (Mining)**

**Sudbury, ON**

Today marks the perfect opportunity to enhance your professional journey Pinchin is seeking a Mining Project Administrator Assistant to join our team in the Sudbury, ON office.

The Project Assistant will contribute to the smooth and effective operation of our projects, with a focus on those within our mining service line, as well as provide project management system support to a team of environmental professionals.

**A Day in the Life of a Mining Project Assistant at Pinchin**:

- Greet clients, answer phone calls, communicate with both clients and employees
- Quality Control - oversee and enforce company policies and procedures, data entry, tracking, and auditing files
- Ensure deliverables are accurately formatted and that quality control forms have been completed by technical reviewers
- Proof-read deliverables as requested
- Issue letters, reports, transmittals, spreadsheets, appendices (maps, photographs), etc. to clients as required by group protocols
- Coordinate timely assembly, printing, and delivery of reports, letters, etc.
- Monitor staff training records for expiries
- Provide project management support
- Create and distribute project-related correspondence
- Attend staff meetings to review project expectations and deadlines
- Generate shipping slips and receive office packages
- Order supplies, shipping and receiving equipment, coordinating couriers, filing
- Perform any other tasks and assignments as deemed necessary

**What you bring to the Pinchin team**:

- High School Diploma and Secretarial or Administrative Assistant Course required
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Business Computer Course or Project Management, Environmental or Construction studies preferred
- Relevant work experience is preferred
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience using a project-based accounting system is considered an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, with high attention to detail
- Ability to complete tasks with mínimal supervision under strict deadlines
- Ability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, comprehend, and proof written reports and correspondence
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for working with all levels of the organization
- Current and valid driver’s license with sufficient insurance, and access to a vehicle required (travel expenses reimbursed)
