_**Job Summary**:_

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages for our customers. - **Qualifications**_
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, and drink preparation and product
- Outstanding communication and guest service skills
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
- 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- **Duties**:_
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Provides guests with exceptional service and product details, such as coffee blend or preparation description
- Sets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)
- Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
- Weighs, grinds or packs coffee beans for guests according to their specifications
- Operates the Point of Sales (POS) system ensuring the accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas in accordance with supervising health agency of the area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Works across all counters serving pastry, salads, sandwiches and other French delicacies
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- **Job Requirements**_
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, ovens, drink blenders, and Point of Sale
- Dexterity for rapid and consistent espresso creation
- Smart Serve Certified
