**Job Type**: Full-Time / Part-Time
**Pay**: Starting at $17.20/hour + Tips

**About Us**:
Au Pain Doré is a premium bakery café offering artisanal coffee, fresh-baked pastries, and gourmet sandwiches in a warm and welcoming setting. We’re currently hiring a versatile and experienced Barista to join our Front of House (FOH) team immediately.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead by example in preparing and serving espresso-based beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, mochas, flat whites, matcha lattes, and more
- Use a semi-automatic espresso machine with consistency and care
- Heat and pack food orders including pastries and sandwiches
- Use the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle cash, and produce end-of-day sales reports
- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries professionally
- Open or close the café as per schedule; complete all associated checklists
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all FOH and customer-facing areas
- Support BOH operations and baking tasks when required
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Managers regarding any operational issues

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 1-2 years of experience as a **Barista** (must)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume café environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- Positive attitude and a pleasing personality with a customer-first mindset

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Intermittent bending, squatting, and reaching
