The Community Clinic Team Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of a multidisciplinary clinical team delivering outpatient and intensive children’s mental health services to children from birth to eighteen and their families. The clinical team includes clinicians working with the **R.I.T.E.S.** Collaborative, a specialized mental health initiative supporting Black children and their families. The R.I.T.E.S. Collaborative is a partnership with Central Toronto Youth Services, designed to address systemic barriers through culturally grounded, trauma-informed services. The Team Manager is a member of the Centre’s management team and carries a small clinical caseload.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A master’s degree in social work or equivalent. Membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Demonstrated experience working from an anti-oppressive and anti-Black racism framework with youth and families from diverse ethno-cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, including youth with diverse educational backgrounds and abilities, and racialized communities. Commitment to ending anti-Black racism and to ongoing learning and practice in anti-oppression.
- Experience in individual, couple, family and group therapy and work with larger systems. Expertise in evidence-based clinical interventions for children and families such as CBT, TF-CBT (and other trauma-informed practices), DBT, and Attachment and Relational therapies would be considered assets.
- Excellent clinical leadership skills gained through years of progressively responsible practice, supervision and management experience in social services. Ability to communicate well, orally and in writing, and to work effectively with clients, staff, other managers and members of the community including the professional community. High degree of organizational and time management skills. Ability to develop cohesive and well-functioning staff teams.
- Technology has become an essential part of clinical and management practice. Comfort and experience using technological platforms including Zoom, Outlook, Teams, Info-HR and electronic medical record systems is required.
- Project management skills and experience developing an implementation and evaluation framework for new initiatives are preferred. Additional responsibilities include helping to develop annual quality improvement and program plans for the leadership group and ensuring that documentation and recording practices/common policies are reviewed and amended. Other key responsibilities include assisting with program planning days and group program review meetings and working with the Director of the Community Clinic and intake department regarding waitlist management oversight and case assignments.
- Thorough knowledge of legislation applicable to children’s mental health services, particularly the _Child, Youth and Family Services Act._
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide clinical supervision to clinicians as well as holding them accountable to meeting program requirements and standards such as clinical hours and report writing.
- Overseeing and assigning of cases to clinicians and the prioritizing of referrals.
- Working closely with the Manager of the Day Treatment program and the Manager of Libby’s Place regarding the intake and often immediate assignment of day treatment and Libby’s Place cases.
- Assignment of duties to team members.
- Responsible for maintaining a small caseload and providing direct individual/
family/group assessment and treatment, with a minimum of 3-4 direct clinical hours per
week. Clinical hours are to also include time spent sitting in with/observing staff on client sessions to provide mentorship.
- Responsible for ensuring the collection of statistical, research and program evaluation
information regarding the Clinic.
- Responsible for responding to client and staff complaints promptly and appropriately in
accordance with Centre policies.
