The QC Associate is responsible for raw materials testing, in-process and finished product release testing. This position also works on retention and stability programs; as well as, method validation, process validation and verification programs.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Adhere to and comply with GMP, GLP and ISO 13485 Quality Management System Standards
- Routine raw material, in-process and finished product testing/inspection and inventory release, including stability testing
- Non-routine testing to support production process validation
- Monitoring stability programs, reviewing stability data, trends and writing stability reports in a timely manner
- QC inventory management, including release of raw materials and finish products and sample retention programs
- Writing QC related SOPs and creating forms
**Qualifications**:
- Four-year University Degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical)
- 1-3 years experience conducting analytical testing in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, using various analytical equipment (HPLC, Spectrometers, Chromatography, Mass Spec, etc)
- 1-3 years experience in a QC function in a GMP/GLP or ISO compliant environment
- Extensive knowledge of chemistry and chemical test methods
- Experience with stability protocols and report writing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
