**Job Purpose**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries
- Communicating with customers through various channels
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Understanding and promoting company programs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer/retailer leads through warm calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Support external Sales Team when needed
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Assist in projects and process improvement initiatives
- Office administration tasks
- Other tasks as assigned by your Manager

**Education Requirements**
- High-school diploma or equivalent

**Competencies**
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant customer service and sales experience with a proven track record
- Experience in business development considered an asset
- HubSpot and Fishbowl experience considered an asset
- Marketing experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of the pet food industry an asset
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Professional and welcoming demeanor
- Strong attention to detail

**Physical & Working Conditions**
