Esposito Bros. Construction Ltd. is a Heavy Civil Contractor that has operating since 1981. Based in Bolton Ontario, we specialize in Municipal Civil Infrastructure Projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas. Our works encompass Bridges, Roads, Sewers and Watermains, Shoring, Concrete Forming, Pump Stations, Noise Barrier Walls and Environmental and Stream works.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Once a project has been awarded the project manager will be responsible for reviewing all of the background material for the project. (Tender contract, issued for construction drawings vs tender drawings, specifications, addendums, geotechnical information, OPSS General Conditions of Contract etc.)
- Prepare for a transfer meeting. This meeting passes the project from Estimating to Project Management. The estimate will be reviewed and assessment of any risks involved with the project will be identified.
- After identifying all key deliverables on the project, the Project Manager will start to prepare for the preconstruction meeting with the key stakeholder groups. The following items will need to be completed prior to this meeting.
- create a project schedule (baseline) together with the Project superintendent
- procuring / identifying all of the required materials and subcontractors that will be incorporated into the work
- Reviewing the contract specifications to identify a complete list of submittals required by the contract administrator
- During the project project manager will:

- prepare a purchase order and/or a subcontract agreements for the suppliers and subcontractors for the project.
- Attend the site regularly to meet with the Site Superintendent an project coordinator in order to review the progress of the work.
- Prepare and issue project start lists, plans and procedures, negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers before the start of the project.
- Maintain procedures and systems for schedule management, RFI's, Transmittals, Change Orders, Change Directives and Claims
- Update and analyze monthly project schedules and prepare and issue a schedule narrative for the project at the end of every month. The schedule narrative identifies any changes in the work and time required to complete.
- Notify project stakeholders of any changes to the work.
- Maintain, track and close extra work orders.
- Prepare, summarize payment certificates at the end of each month with the Site superintendent and the project coordinator.
- Be familiar with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Experience in B2W (Estimate, Track), Jonas Accouting and AutoCAD an asset
- Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word) MS Outlook and MS Project preferred.

A university or college degree in Civil Engineering and / or civil construction experience in a similar role

5 - 10 years management / coordination experience for **Heavy Civil Infrastructure** projects (municipal road, underground infrastructure, shoring, bridge etc for projects _**in Ontario)**_

Capable of managing and prioritizing several assignments at once to deliver on time.

Able to work independently and show initiative with mínimal supervision

Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English.

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products

**Salary**: $97,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
