**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

The Controller is accountable for the financial, administrative and risk management operations of the Group. The primary responsibility includes business planning, budgeting, & forecasting, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the Group.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
- Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners & stakeholders.
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets.
- Overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting, presenting & reporting accurate and timely financial information of the Group.
- Be responsible for the Group’s overall financial health, ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs.
- Develop and maintain a check of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
- Provide training to increase awareness and knowledge related to financial management matters across the organization.
- Participate in developing new business and assist the Group GM & COO in the drafting of prospective business plan, identifying new funding opportunities and determining the cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery, ensure financial and operational success through cost-benefit analysis.

**EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- 10+ years at management level in Finance/Accounting area, Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or Economic, MBA is a plus.
- CPA or equivalent qualification is required.

**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS**:

- Bilingual (English and Mandarin)
- Proficiency in accounting, tax, financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting and internal control.
- A cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement.
- Proven leadership and project management skill.
- Strong business acumen, with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles and deep involvement into business management from finance side.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with an impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Full-time year-round employment.
- Some evening and weekend work required during peak season, emergencies, and special projects.
- Stationary work station and mobile work station needs provided.
