**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an energetic and goal-driven **Account Development Representative** to help drive our expansion into new retail accounts. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying potential grocery partners, initiating contact, and supporting the onboarding process. You’ll play a key role in introducing our products to supermarkets, ethnic stores, and food distributors throughout Ontario and beyond.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research and identify potential retail partners (supermarkets, ethnic grocery stores, independent chains).
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective accounts using CRM tools.
- Book and attend meetings with decision-makers (store managers, buyers, owners).
- Support onboarding of new accounts by coordinating sample deliveries, pricing discussions, and required paperwork.
- Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Track and report weekly progress on outreach and account activity.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (preferred, but not required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Strong interest in food, sales, and cultural products.
- Ability to commute to our Guelph office and travel locally as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an asset.

**Nice to Have**:

- Multilingual (Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, or Mandarin is a plus)
- Experience in food service, distribution, or retail industries
- Knowledge of halal products or ethnic grocery market trends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $20.70-$25.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
