A 1600 square footage TCM Health Center and Storefront utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Holistic Natural remedies. Maintained in an environment to meet high volumes of shoppers and patients alike.

**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Reception of new or returning clients and assist them in a product or service inquiry, in a professional, respectful, and polite manner.
- Able to proficiently use a Point of Sale, Copier, Telephone, PC Computer, or Tablet system.
- Package and prepare TCM Herbal Prescriptions using Clinical Instruments.
- Maintain and clean the workplace and clinical environment with safety and health in mind.
- Manage patients and clients with respect and professionalism.
- Being perceptive of other Employees and the Supervisor's needs as they pertain to the front desk or clinical environment.
- Multitasking and being able to emotionally handle challenge or confrontational people.
- Keep common areas clean and organized at all times
- Work under temporary stress or high volume situations while being proficient and aware of the environment.
- Arrange and coordinate ahead of time with supervisor in case of schedule changes or work disruptions.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to communicate and speak fluently in **Cantonese** and **English**. **Mandarin **language preferred.
- Must not have a **known allergy **to herbal, food, or medical ingredients.
- Must have experience with either patient aid, sales, marketing, or customer service.
- Must have a keen interest working in clinical environments, and with Chinese Medicine.
- The nature being a clinical environment: Hygienically well maintained, no medical record of infectious diseases (must be communicated).
- The nature being a clinical environment: No piercings on the limbs or on the face are allowed.
- The nature being a clinical environment: COVID Vaccination status must be disclosed.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients and customers are required to enter with a mask, since this is a healthcare environment. All patients are required to do a temperature check before entering the clinical space. Workers are provided with medical gloves, ASTM rated masks, N95 Respirators if necessary.

Working scrub will be provided.

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.5 per week
