**Role Overview**

The **Business Development Manager** will drive EraTree’s institutional growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding clients across global markets. The role involves cultivating relationships with trading firms, payment providers, exchanges, and treasury clients, while working closely with the operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution and post-trade experience.

This position requires a commercially-minded professional with proven experience in crypto trading, OTC, or financial markets who can convert opportunities into sustained revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, engage, and onboard new institutional clients, including funds, family offices, brokers, and corporate treasuries.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking progress and KPIs through CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Develop tailored OTC liquidity solutions that meet client needs for size, settlement speed, and currency coverage.
- Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure client onboarding meets regulatory and internal standards.
- Negotiate commercial terms, spreads, and settlement conditions in coordination with the trading desk.
- Represent EraTree at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
- Provide regular reporting on client activity, market trends, and business development performance.
- Work cross-functionally with the EverTree/EverX ecosystem to drive joint opportunities and referrals.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in **business development, institutional sales, or account management** within **crypto, FX, or capital markets**.
- Strong understanding of OTC trading, liquidity management, and settlement flows.
- Demonstrated ability to originate and close high-value deals in fast-moving markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a distributed team environment.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in English; additional languages an asset.
