The Opportunity

The Security Advisor is responsible for the administration, coordination, support and implementation of the Supply Chain Security Management System (SCSMS) and the Emergency and Continuity Management System (ECMS) for DP World Canada. This is a contract position, with potential for the role to become permanent. As part of this role, you will be required to travel to our other terminal locations across Canada, and your regular work will be across our 3 of our business units in the lower mainland (Vancouver Terminal, Fraser-Surrey Terminal, and our Metrotown Office).

In This Role, You Will:

- Lead and support implementation of Emergency and Continuity Management System (ECMS) and Supply Chain Security Management Systems (SCSMS) across all business units/entities.
- Administer, coordinate and maintain Supply Chain Security Management Systems (SCSMS), and Emergency and Continuity Management System (ECMS) program requirements including program documentation, records management, policies, manuals, operating procedures, training, inspections, drills, risk assessments, and audit programs.
- Coordinate and drive all activities for the Emergency and Continuity Management System (ECMS) and Supply Chain Security Management Systems (SCSMS) internal and external audit Programs.
- Manage and coordinate SMS (Security Management System) and ECMS (Emergency and Continuity Management System) Calendars and related elements which include requirements of the Supply Chain Security Management System such as Transport Canada, CBSA, ISO28000 and Global Security.
- Provide administration of security access and surveillance for business units following established guidelines and permissions. Assist with collecting and providing surveillance evidence for health, safety and/or security investigations.
- Ensure compliance of Marine Facility Security Officer (MFSO) responsibilities through prescribed evaluations and formal and informal inspections.
- Manage the development and implementation of the Supply Chain Security Management System (SCSM), the Emergency and Continuity Management System (ECMS) training program.
- Assess and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure management systems are compliant with internal global standards and develop and drive action plans for systematic program across all business units.
- Support the development, implementation and compliance of Risk Registers, Business Impact Analysis’, Business Continuity Plans and testing scenarios and plans.
- Actively communicate and provide guidance on the Supply Chain Security Management System (SCSM), and Emergency and Continuity Management System (ECMS) requirements.
