**Human Resources Assistant**

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The Human Resources Assistant will be based in Montreal but will be a key member of the U.S. Human Resources team and provide support to the U.S. Head of Human Resources and members of the U.S. Human Resources team.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Draft and edit employment verification letters
- Design, write, and send the US HR Newsletter
- Manage overtime spreadsheet and create overtime reports
- Track 90-day evaluations & evaluation status for administrative team
- Maintain personnel files and HRIS systems
- Update US Forum on Maestro (intranet)
- Subpoena support
- Visa support
- Harassment Training tracking
- Support for DEI initiatives - Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT)
- Turnover analysis
- Background Checks
- HR / Benefits Invoice Reconciliation
- Manage Leave of Absence Requests
- Assist with the updating of the US Handbook
- Assist with coordinating initiatives for the US Wellness Program

**Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, demonstrating proficiency in various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and / or compliance
- Discreet handling of highly sensitive and confidential information
- Self-starter mentality and ability to work well independently, as well as with a team
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability
- Comfort working in highly confidential, fast-paced, high volume, high touch, high impact situations.
- Flexibility and ability to respond to and address ad hoc requests that don’t necessarily follow structure.
- Forward-thinking, structured, and process-oriented thinker
- Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne particulièrement motivée et proactive pour se joindre à notre équipe des ressources humaines au poste d’adjoint en ressources humaines. L’adjoint aux ressources humaines travaillera à Montréal, mais sera un membre clé de l’équipe des ressources humaines et du soutien aux États-Unis. Responsable des ressources humaines et membres des États-Unis Équipe des ressources humaines.

**Tâches et responsabilités essentielles**
- Rédiger et modifier des lettres de vérification d’emploi.
- Concevoir, rédiger et envoyer le bulletin d’information des RH destiné aux États-Unis.
- Gérer la feuille de calcul des heures supplémentaires et créer des rapports sur les heures supplémentaires.
- Assurer le suivi des évaluations trimestrielles et de la situation quant à l’évaluation pour l’équipe administrative.
- Tenir à jour les dossiers du personnel et les SIRH.
- Mettre à jour du Forum des États-Unis sur Maestro (intranet).
- Soutien à l’assignation.
- Soutien aux visas.
- Assurer le suivi de la formation sur le harcèlement.
- Assurer le soutien aux initiatives de DEI (de HRC et MLT).
- Assurer l’analyse du roulement.
- Procéder aux vérifications des antécédents.
- Assurer le rapprochement des factures des avantages sociaux et pour les RH.
- Gérer les demandes de congés.
- Participer à la mise à jour du Guide pour les États-Unis.
- Participer à la coordination des initiatives du programme de mieux-être aux États-Unis.

**Exigences**
- Baccalauréat requis.
- Au moins 3 ans d’expérience à un poste de généraliste dans le domaine des RH, faire preuve d’une maîtrise à diverses fonctions des RH, notamment le recrutement, les relations avec les employés, ainsi que la gestion de la paie, des avantages sociaux ou de la conformité.
- Traitement discret de renseignements de nature très délicate et confidentielle.
