**Key Responsibilities**:
- Recruitment: Lead full-cycle recruitment, from job posting to offer, for a growing production team and succession planning initiatives. Use our ATS and collaborate closely with hiring managers and supervisors to attract the best talent.
- Onboarding: Coordinate new hire onboarding to ensure a seamless start for each team member. Manage onboarding documentation and work with managers to create an exceptional employee experience.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling issues, performance concerns, promotions, learning paths, and more.
- HR Administration: Manage all HR administrative tasks, including updating employee records and maintaining documentation. Coordinate with the Head Office HR team to ensure support and alignment on HR practices.
- Reporting & Finance Support: Prepare and update payroll reports, assist with finance reporting, and provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager. Support employee timesheet management for payroll processing.
- Benefits Administration: Address employee questions regarding payroll and benefits, and help them navigate our systems. Serve as a liaison between Hagen Industries and the Head Office HR team to support employee benefits administration.
- Performance Management: Assist with the performance review process, including annual evaluations and 3-month reviews for new hires.
- Health & Safety: Serve as the primary point of contact for CNESST, manage workplace injury files, and help ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Cross-Functional Support: In a small team environment, team members occasionally cover each other’s roles during absences. Be prepared to support various administrative and finance tasks as needed.
- Reception & Event Planning: Greet visitors (rare) and act as the primary contact for office guests. Assist in planning company events to foster team engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Proven recruitment expertise and experience with full-cycle hiring.
- Excellent communication skills in French, and proficiency in English as some international collaboration is required.
- Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Excellent soft skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
