**Here’s how we’ll do it**:

- Be a role model and help us cultivate a positive, value-centric, and engaging work environment.
- Manage our talent acquisition program, collaborating with managers in different departments.
- Consult with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Prepare, post, and monitor job openings.
- Engage and communicate with potential hires.
- Oversee ACASS’s internal referral program.
- Coordinate professional reference checks through third-party providers.
- Prepare, submit, and file offer of employment paperwork.
- Prepare and update job descriptions.
- Coordinate the onboarding process and orientation training of new hires in collaboration with our administrative team.
- Gather information and draft new team member welcome announcements.
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing documentation, maintaining HR files current, etc.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies.
- Support our team members with HR inquiries.
- Participate in ACASS’s People & Culture initiatives, programs, and activities.

- Innovative thinker, with the ability to use and develop new sources for recruitment.
- Emotional intelligence and strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Good training, coaching, and active listening skills.
- A sense of urgency and the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets.
- Knowledge of functional areas of Human Resources and Canadian Labour Legislation.
- Bilingual English and French with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with tracking systems, resume databases, and professional networks.
- 3+ years of corporate recruiting experience - experience as HR Coordinator or another similar role preferred.
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or another related field.
- CHRP designation preferred.
